Ever since I was a little girl, I have mostly lived with my grandparents. My mom wasn't the most stable mom in the world but she did the best she could and that is why that no matter why she is a person that has a big influence on me in my life.
After I was born, my mom and I moved to Indiana to move in with a friend of hers while my mom earned a little money. Soon after she had enough saved up, we moved to Florida where she planned to make more money. When we moved to Florida, my mom and I really struggled, and we ended up living out of a hotel. It wasn't the ideal life but my mom was trying her best. It's not something I remember but my grandma didn't see things fit so she came all the way down from Indiana to pick me up to go and live with her. She told my mom that when she got her life straightened out I could come back down to Florida and live with her again. My mom was soon married and expecting a little boy, so my grandma brought me back down to Florida to live with my mom again.
Everything was going fine again. I had a step-dad who was super fun to be around, a little brother who I loved to death, and an older step-sister who I always fought with but still loved with all my heart. My grandma always had her eye on my mom to see if she would mess up somehow, someway. She saw that my step-sister had really bad anger management problems and didn't think that that it was the best situation to be in. So for the second time in my life my grandma came and picked me up and moved me back with he and my grandpa back to Illinois.
Soon my mom and step-dad got divorced and my mom decided it would be best for her and my little brother to move in with my grandparents back in Illinois. My mom ended up going back to school for awhile while me and my brother were in school.
For these reasons my mom is one of the biggest influences in my life. While I still live with my grandparents today and not my mom, she still inspires me. My mom has gone through many struggles and it shows me that it is possible to go through the small things like every day things to the big things like getting into college and getting a start on my life. I know that if my mom accomplished everything that she has accomplished so far, that I can too.
