There are many messages in Slumdog Millionaire however some stood out more to me than others. Throughout the film there was various times in which both brothers are captured at different angles. I believe that this is to touch on the difference in the brothers. In all both brothers represent two completely different lifestyles. One is how one is willing to do anything for money while the other just wants happiness. In life there are always two different sides to everything rather it is bad to good or being humble to cocky and I believe Slumdog Millionaire captures this in parts of the movie. Adding on to the different paths that people choose to take in life, I also feel that the movie touches on the different choices one has in life. Many times in this film each character has the option of making a decision which would lead to happiness or a sad ending.

Choices made in places such as Mumbia cane play a huge role on one's life. These children in the movie grew up having to make choices they had no control over. They were only going with the flow of life and that flow led them to various places. We all can understand how making certain choices dictate what paths we go in life. If we look closer we can see the two different paths that each brother ended up going rather it was for the best or for the worse.

I cannot finger point a particular scene because it occurs so often. But I feel if we watch the movie and pay attention to the brother's actions throughout we can see a huge difference in their character outside of what is displayed. The film obviously shows the brothers going two different routes in life but coming to this point I believe it. I feel in certain scenes when the brothers were children and Jamal thought he would get famous from singing to the Slumdog, showed this. One brother is trusted to participate in the handicapping of a child, while one is innocent and has potential to become a victim. Things like this give me reason to believe that the film wants to touch on the different paths in life that one could take.
