Prologue

Hawaii in 1985 a legend was born, not just any legend, the legend.

Shredding the wake of any boat that would dare to pull him the legend conquered any competitor that would dare to battle him.

The legend once known all over Hawaii and all around the world as the best wakeboarder known to man, had a fall that would change his life forever.

After wakeboarding along one of the most treacherous areas along Hawaii specifically known for the towering waves, and gripping undercurrents, the legend hung up his board for good.

His wipeout was so severe that he was scared for the rest of his life, and the legend swore to never wakeboard again.

Years later along came the future flipster.

The future flipster dreamed of being just like the legend, following every move that he conquered, and learning all of his boarding patterns preciously.

The future flipster wanted to be the best, wanted to prove he was a champion wakeboarder just like the legend.

The only thing that stood between the future flipster and becoming the champion was the enemy, the best wakeboarder currently riding the wakes of Hawaii.

The future flipster knew that the only way he could finally beat the enemy was to seek the help of his hero, his only hope, his idol, the legend.

Some may think that this would have been an easy task, but the legend had been secluded in a small hut at the top of the hill since he hung up his board for good.

No one had seen the legend since his wipeout.

The lights glowing in the windows of the hut were the people of Hawaiis only indication that the legend still lived.

One day the future flipster built all of the courage he could and began to climb to the top of the hill where the isolated hut set.

After the journey to the top had concluded the future flipster knocked on the door, just one kock that could either guarantee future success or promise future failure.

After waiting what seemed like a lifetime, the future flipster began to journey back down the hill when suddenly he heard the creaking of the opening door.

The future flipster quickly ran to the hut, enough to catch a glimpse of the figure hiding behind the door frame.

The future flipster could not believe his eyes.
