Microenvironmental factors have been a combination of the following actors, Target; itself, marketing intermediaries, suppliers, customer markets, the public, and its competitors. All of these forces have contributed to Target overall performance.

The macroenvironmental factors that affected Target's performance during that same period are categorized as demographic, economic, natural, technological, political, and cultural.

Target must first and for most live up their word. Having so many neighboring competitors hungry to grab customers with their better prices, for Target to have gained success solely on focusing on their slogan would be highly. And Target must plan other sources of marketing plans, so buyers reminded of the best prices Target has to offer them.

They should have followed was instead of focusing so strongly on the words "Pay Less" in their slogan. They should have gone out and asked for feedback from their consumers, fixing any external issues that buyers have had and why they choose to do business elsewhere.

In my opinion, they need make their business reform outside of the company, and do more connections between the company and the customers.

Throughout How I Learned to Drive, the word "pedophilia" comes to my mind. A lot of child molesters seem to be nice, ordinary people, the child molester as someone who is easy to like, Uncle Peck seems to be somewhere in between an angel and a devil. It was disturbing personally to think about, because the issue of pedophilia has affected a close friend.

Peck seems to be a normal guy. He is a gentleman and is kind. He helps out his neighbors and is well liked by a lot of people. Deep down, I think he is a good person but he lets lust take him over. He doesn't have much self control. He teaches Lil' Bit a lot, not only how to drive, but how to assert herself in her family and in society. He wants to help her. Peck is not just simply a molester, he is her uncle and she looks up to him. He teaches Lil' Bit how to drive because he wants to help her get through life. Peck has inappropriate feelings for Lil' Bit. He starts molesting Lil' Bit when she is eleven. He would say things like 'I love you,' and 'you're so beautiful' to get her to give in to him. Because Uncle Peck and she are so close, she never does anything about the abuse until she is eighteen. Her hurt becomes evident in the final scene in the hotel room. Peck seems creepy and obsessive by counting down the days until her eighteenth birthday and sending her weird presents. In the room, he proposes to her and she turns him down. She finally
