The Boeing Company is was started in 1916 in Washington state. Boeing is a top company leading in commercial aircraft and military. Boeing includes Hughes space and communication, Jappesen, Mcdonnell Douglass, Rockwell International, and North American Aviation. The commercial airline carrier offers a wide range of services to freight services and passengers. Boeing manufacturer and design the largest amount of military tankers and helicopters. The support team delivery government services worldwide. Boeing make satellities for the space company Nasa. Boeing focus on customer care, technology, compliance and ethics, growth for the company, financial targets and future customer service. Boeing service over 90 countries and employ over 157,000 people. Boeing headquarters is located in Chicago with other sites around the world.

'The planning process is complicated by legal issues, which can put the company in an awkward position. In 2000, Boeing was sued over a complicated legal issue involving gender pay differential (Business Week, 2004). There was clear evidence that pay differential existed; however, attorney client privilege protected the company from liability and most of the evidence was later thrown out, in the end Boeing settled out of court and saved the company from public humiliation. Having a legal team overseeing all important documents and decisions gave Boeing the opportunity to save them millions of dollars. In this situation, it was best for Boeing to settle because it would resonate better with consumers, its employees, and the public in general."

When Boeing look at any legal matters with employees, all is treated fairly. Rules are carried out properly. Employees are not allowed to conduct any unethical activities, causing problems to the company. Boeing ask their workers to remain honest, be socialable not bringing any scandals to the company. All employees are informed to ask question and report any vioalations or scandals to the manager n charged. The managers implement policy and expect the employees to follow. Any violation to the company are taken care of with deciplinary actions
