After reviewing the staffing strategy obtainable the conclusion found was that it did not entirely line up with the firm’s new strategic direction. The process if enrollment is to acquire, deploying, and retaining a workforce of sufficient quality and quantity to create a positive impact on the company’s effectiveness (Henenman, & Judge, 2009). In the instance of the New Health Medical Systems, the tactic of staffing should not be solely founded on hiring candidates that are local, but on branching out by generating motivations to outside candidates in additional areas.
Based on the organization’s needs, the following recommendations are provided for evaluation:
- Connecting with staffing assistances that specialize in technician placement into health care services.
- Offer a $1,000 signing bonus to anyone who signs on and stays with the business for a minimum of 350 day.
- Place advertisements in local papers.
- Organize job fairs and invite professionals from the surrounding areas to attend.
Subsequently advance research, approaches, which absolutely target towards residents in the local hiring of candidates minus motivations, should be considered unproductive, as there is a lack of attentiveness in the local area for job hunters. The recommendations above involve supplementation to assist the desires of the company.
The advertisements of job fairs and a hiring bonus offers a degree that will support induce the workforces to want to become an employee of the company. The signing bonus of $1,000 for 180-day commitment offers the candidates a commitment for that time frame, as well as an additional incentive. The signing bonus may not be enough, therefore, if New Health Medical Systems offers wages and salaries beyond the market normal along with the signing bonus, it can demonstrate more of a reason for candidates to select the company (Henenman & Judge, 2009). Another way to attract candidates with the local area is to attract graduate school professionals from the colleges in the surrounding areas.
