I thought that by the time I hit thirty years old I would be something. I got out of high school and went straight to college like I thought I should and have never left. In this paper, I will try and give my life story, by using some of the adult development theories that I have learned so far in this class. Then I will take you on a look to my future as I hope it will turn out.

I grew up with a very strict and God-fearing mother, so trying to get away with anything was almost impossible. I can remember growing up and having one of my aunts telling me and my sister that we were weird because our parents were still married, this has stuck with me for many years and I am happy to say that my parents stay married until my moms death in 2008.

There are so many memories that come flooding to my mind as I sit here. One of my first childhood memories was that I always wanted to be with my grandparents because they let me get away with anything and everything. My grandparents would take me to church every Sunday morning and we would stay in town for church that night and then head back up the hill to their house.

Then there were the family reunions that were so much fun because I got to meet cousins that I had never meet before and also got to see the ones that lived far away. These reunions would last the whole weekend; they began first thing Saturday morning at the park and usually end up Sunday morning the whole family visiting my grandparent's church. We would eat and eat all weekend long. Then there were the family vacations.

One family vacation my parents decided to take a car trip from southern California to northern Washington about two thousand miles. This trip at first sounded way too long and way too much to be with my family in a car for a full 24-hour period and no way to get away from them. Once we got to my great aunts house we had another giant family reunion so my family was always devoted to each other. This vacation is one that will stay with me for the rest of my life because it was not only the first big family vacation but the trip home was another adventure that my parents had not counted on. We left my great aunts house headed for Seattle which was suppose to be a four hour trip but ended up taking eight hours because we took side trips to see the beautiful sites and lakes. We were suppose to be there and on our way home by the end of that day but that did not happen and we got to stay an extra day in the beautiful city of Seattle which was unexpected.

After the road trip to Washington we had other family vacations such as the camping trip to Balch Park. This trip was fishing trip also and was the first time I got to fish on my own and caught a fish with out my dad right by my side. Besides the fishing we did some hiking and some bike riding. Then there were the people that we got to meet that were camping next to us, they were from our hometown and lived close to where we lived and their kids went to school with my sister and I so goes to show you never know who you will meet.

I can remember being a child and loving all animals in the world but my favorite was chickens, then my dad got my sister
