If it weren't for reading, I wouldn't be able to read my speech off of this paper as I'm doing now. If it weren't for reading, there would be no such thing as an author. If it weren't for reading, everything would be vocal and a great number of people would lose their jobs. Reading has a great impact on the world. If you can't read, you will have a very difficult time trying to function in everyday life. This is why we learn to read at such a young age. Your life would be much easier if you knew how to read. Many things in the world require reading from applying for a job to reading "road work" signs while driving. But if you can't read, I don't know if driving is your best decision. It also increases your vocabulary, which will give you a chance to use new words in everyday conversation and it also strengthens your comprehension skills. You need to exercise your brain and by reading day to day, you can do so. Other than the radio or TV, written words are how we share information throughout the world. Newspapers and magazines are some good examples. Reading is a way to rid boredom, to rid anxiety's, to expand your imagination, to help you relax. A way to educate yourself in anything, is by reading. Without reading there would be no documented Constitution or Declaration of Independence.
