Marketing Plan Proposal
Of all the artificial nuts to crack, language translation is one of the hardest. Not only are there some 6,000 spoken tongues around the world, you have to account for slang, accents, near unrecognizable brogues, countless regional dialects, and increasingly, hybrid languages like Spanglish popping up in the melting pots of the globe. For those very same reasons, a tool that can translate language in real-time audio would have enormous payoff for society. We, at BrainGen Inc. have come up with such a product that would change the world as we know it. It is an application (The Ultimate Linguist) that would translate any language around the world in your own desired one, into real-time audio that you can easily understand. This cuts down on the myriad awkward translation errors that Google translate or others may provide due to dialects, accents and hybrid languages.
This application in works will eradicate the need of linguists. Once being launched on Google Play and App store, people around the world will take full advantage of this application. Why would anyone want to buy this application? To get the most accurate real-time translation in audio while being in a foreign environment with a dialect that requires sophisticated translation. This will eradicate language barriers and bring us closer together. The goal of our company is to see a world where people from two complete different regions of the world having a very intuitive conversation without any hiccups.
This application's perfect arrangement in business world would be in a conference room where executives can Skype or Telepresence in four different languages simultaneously; no more lost translation between words. Their unmet need of immediate translation with precision will be met without any delays from either side. Another practical implication of The Ultimate Linguist would be during visits to other countries. A person from Texas who only speaks English goes vacationing with his family to Italy for the first time and interacts with locals who enlighten him about the rich history of Florence in Italian. Another example would be someone on a business trip to Shanghai, out for a night in the city, interacts with locals who tell him about the trendy places he can visit, while speaking to him in Mandarin. The barriers of language will be brought down with this application and interaction will increase without any hesitation of foreign language.
The way we will make money is by first charging $5.99 for the application, where our unit cost will be $2.99. Since our cost in making such an application would be approximately $7 million as a whole, we will have to get an additional $4 million loan through the bank after they have seen
