I had known many wonderful people in my life, but Mario is very special for me. I met him the first day of school. That day he offered me his friendship and as the days went on we became best friends. Wherever I was, he was with me, everything we did together. He is the guy you will see wearing jeans and different kinds of t-shirts. At first you may think that he is just another teenager that's into the rock scene, but it goes much deeper than that. Mario was born in Dominican Republic. He is mature and very intelligent. When he came in America he felt like was falling into a roaring stream without any swimming skills. Little by little he started to get used to the new culture and the language. If you were to engage in a conversation with Mario, you would hear the kindness in his voice. If you were to look into his face when he was talking about the things he loves, you would know it. His body language and facial expressions are always visible. These characteristics make him a person with a good personality. He is friendly and has good relationships with everybody. If I would describe Jose in three words, they would be optimistic, determined and friendly. He likes to succeed and make his dreams come true. I appreciate his optimism and indifference at the same time. When something bad happens, he is always determined. He says that next time he would try much harder and nothing would stop him. He is gradually progressing into a self-actualized person because he is challenging himself to become a strait A student, and in return the reward would be immense satisfaction. Though Mario is very involved in sports and games, he is much disciplined. He always finishes his homework in time. He is well-educated and has amiable manners. He has a good heart. Moreover, he is truthful, honest and helpful. When his friends have difficulties, he always tries his best to help them. He is always happy and optimistic about different situations. This is his slogger, whatever happens to a man is equal to a man, and a man is equal to all his challenges in life.
