I am writting an essay of the leader General Patton, he was a controversial general who fought during WW II. He is known for his special character who made him also un person not well loved by one part of the generals of his time. It is interesting to find out what allowed general Patton to rise above his contemporaries; what prepared him for his heavy responsabilities hi bore asa commander of the american forces during World War II. I would like to discover what was the most important and most distinctive element he had. I would like to learn about the character he had who made him successful during his military career. The purpose of me reserarch is to determin if a leader like Patton is born or made. The comment is often made that leader are born, not made. I believe that ther is important to know that there are many qualities that combine to make a leader successful. Among the most important are professional knowledge, decision, humanity, equity, courage, consideration, delegation, loyalty, selflessness, and character. During this research I want to discover the style and the capacity general Patton had to command his troops during battle. Why he disliked general Montgomery? Is it true that he ran out of fuel in Sicily because his chief was jealous of him, and finally, is it true taht he was murdered instead of having had an automobile accident. In conclusion, it is interesting to discover the personality of such a facinating american leader.
