Leadership in work teams can play a vital role in work teams. The relation between leadership and its team is trust and support. Team members' willingness to a member has to respond to leader guidance, when team members and leaders trust each other. Work teams mutually supportive of work efforts, and then if there is no leadership for the teams the leader-work team's interaction will be poor. Teams have many variables, including performance a person's attitude and beliefs.Employees derive inspiration from leaders, and unless they can influence others; they do not consider themselves leaders. A leader purpose is influencing the actions and attitudes of others, and the ability to motivate others to achieve goals. The leadership process involves using authority to help organize teams or groups to set goals, motivating team members to work toward achieving common goals, and influencing dynamics and culture, leadership and motivation to go together. Organizational leadership is a continuous on a team approach rather than a one-time event.
Team leader behavior should be trustworthy, energetic, good advisor having qualities as a teacher and communicator. He or she should be responsible and optimistic. A leader should keep encouraging and helping attitude and try to evaluate member on the team by their ability and performance instead of doing any favoritism. He or she should be, a good planner, innovative, team builder and capable of handling complex and complicated issues. To be a strong team builder, he or she needs to use all his skills such as; (a) listening, (b) feedback, (c) conflict and resolution, (d) problem solving, and (e) coaching. Team supervisor's responsibilities are transmitting information, skills, and knowledge, in a timely fashion to team members. An asset is a precious possession, and knowledge is your biggest asset as a leader involved as a group or team. The more they know by being well-informed and using common sense, and effective and efficient they will bring to the company (Pace, 2006).
