INTRODUCTION
System design is the most important phase in the system life cycle. After studying the existing system I proposed a new system that meets the needs of the user. System design presents specific information for the designing of the input, out put processing file structures and database.
Economy reliability and modularity should consider in design phase. This chapter deals with the designing of the system, which comprises designing of the input, output forms and files.
4.2 DESIGN APPROACH
Design methods and strategies are the tools of the designer. The common design methods are:
1- Top Down Approach
2- Bottom up Approach
The method I have adopted for designing the new system is known as structures design approach. It is a viewed as top down approach. The reasons for the selecting this approach are like.
The structures methodology is based on building a logical module of the system i.e. identifying the major components of the system, decomposing into the their lower level modules and interesting until the desired level of the detail in approach.
4.2.1 STRUCTURED TOOLS
Structure approach is released by its reach set of analysis and design tool, each of, which serves particular propose in developing the design specification like.
DATA FLOW DIAGRAM
Data flow diagram provides a complete, clean and global understanding of the system then did the traditional approaches.
DATA DISCTIONARY
Every system ever a simplest one has a league number of data items. In order to maintain these data item, a storehouse of data items is maintained known as data dictionary.
4.3 DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS
System designing consists of the following steps.
1- Output designing.
2- Input Designing.
3- File Designing.
4.3.1 OUTPUT DESIGNING
Output from the system can be in the forms of the report and querries. The new out put reports of the automated accounts maintenance system are:
1-five top depositors.
2-Five lowest depositors.
3-period wise account transaction.
4- period wise profit calculation.
5-yearly Zakaat deduction.
4.3.2 INPUT DESINGING
Designing of input mainly involves the form designing.
