I believe the most important factor for a company success is to developing and implement the right technology needed to support company and its growth. Twitter is a good case to illustrate my point. Twitter use a new technology called IM (instant messaging) when they found in the year 2006. IM is a fascinating technology at that time because Twitter is the only service provider of this technology. Twitter is success for reduce manpower needs, for now Twitter only have around 500 employees. Through increase in efficiency, Twitter reduces overall costs and create the means to reach new markets; now it become one of the most famous social networking platform of the world. So I believe the most important factor is to developing and implement the technology that makes a difference for companies.

I believe the most important factor for a company failure is they paying more attention on the product itself and do not focus on the potential markets. I know there is a group buying website in china called tuan900.com. This company was close down for good last year because it facing huge amount of competitors who provide same service that lead to failure of their profit cannot offset the losses. Although tuan900.com's products are as good as other competitors' but they did not research on market at first, so it cannot survive among competitors whom have larger scale and more registered capital. I believe the requirement to identify a market for the idea or the product is more important than the product itself. A company may have a great idea or a product, but if there are no buyers for the same then it cannot be a success. I suggest companies should first identify the market requirement and then develop products accordingly.
