The Influence of Fashion
If each person owned only one pair of pants, one shirt, and one jacket, that would be 21 billion articles of clothing. Going off that statistic clothing and fashion is a very essential and important feature to the world and society. Fashion is a way to express individuality and is an important part of our society and culture. Without previous decades and earlier fashion trends we would never have what we have today. Style trends of earlier times may seem very different but they are the base and foundation of the later decades and today. We may think that the style in the 1980's is to outgoing with the shoulder bags and neon but without those clothing articles we wouldn't have what we have today. This essay will include a trip back to the late 1800s, all through the 1900's and to where we are now in fashion. Fashion has come along way to get where it is right now and will continue to grow and evolve as people and atmosphere change. Fashion is a large part of society and has evolved from previous decades including the late 1800s and the whole 1900s with their inventions and influence and has come along way to get where it is today.
