Working on policy, need to read quotes from the indian act to confirm policy quotes actually exist. The Indian Act of Canada is not easy to find on the Internet and were else can this be found. I have asked Chiefs and Executive Assistants, Directors all working with the Administration area and nobody has a copy. Why is this document so well garded. Is there something in this document that they don't want people to read now, they might figure out what was actually signed way back then. There was ammendments made and never reviewed. Some of these ammendments were written when some of our elders were children or before our present leaders were even born. This Act should be available to anyone who is wanting a copy of it, not hidden and out of sight for ever.
