Illusion is Not True
In modern societies, the technology has changed the world a lot, especially reflected in reducing the distance between people in every corner of the world. In the article Friends With Benefits the author Kate Dailey describes this phenomenon with many examples such as the friend called Sue. In the reciprocal fourth paragraph it says:
Posting personal experiences, no matter how painful, also allows acquaintances who have lived through similar experiences to reach out, either with information about support groups or just an empathetic ear. "The idea of sharing a commonality helps make it a little more bearable. You're not alone, and there are others going through what you went through," says Nash. "It doesn't take away the pain, but it can lessen the pain and make you feel not so alone."(prg12th)
Well in my opinions, I don't agree with the author's viewpoint. It seems like the distance between everyone has been reduced a lot by nowadays technology, but in fact we are still living in a big world. All the things, including friends, wealthy, sense of achievement and even any relationships in the Internet are illusory and not true. They're so weak that will be broken when we put too many emotions on them. Maybe friends on facebook can give us some comforts to reduce our pain when we experience something unexpected, but the most useful solution may be a hug or a call form the one living near ourselves. We can't live only with those illusions through they are created by real people. What we need mostly is things of the true world, just because we are true human beings.
