I AM IN LOVE
"You might have joined for the wrong reasons but you stay for the right reasons." This quote is one of the most popular saying in our field. I am not sure who said it but s/he was perfectly right. I joined because wanted adventure, I wanted challenge and I wanted something new but as soon as I understood things, I stayed because of one reason only, I love my work. A lot of people generalize my line of work as something illegal because of the training and disciplinary punishments we do. What they don't see is the bond we have as team. Yes, there may be seniority but that is just to follow the chain of command for orderliness. What we do is not just for the pleasure of making someone suffer but it is for them to realize that mistakes will make you stronger.
We earned the respect that our friends or our past colleagues give us. This kind of admiration was molded from righteous perceptive. We didn't beg for it, they gave it us because they knew and they are grateful because they have seen a good change within them through the training they received. These are just one of the privileges we have. We feel powerful not because of the special treatment that is given to us but because of the family we are able to create. There may be different batches or unit in our training but outside of that training field, is just one big family growing.
