This article stated the purpose of the book's usefulness by giving short description and techniques such as dynamic programming, gaming theory, inventory theory, Markov processes, econometric structural systems, and exponential forecasting methods. The author stated that the book portrayed an interest toward significant business activities such as advertising and other marketing promotional concepts. Once the details and foundation were established regarding the purpose of the book, the author developed a hypothesis.
