Since the end of World War II the United Nations (UN) worked and, is still working, to maintain the world peace. Numerous decisions have been taken to make this world a better place. Unfortunately we are still not there.

We are still striving to make our lives better, but we don't think about the fact that if we make the world a better place to live, we'll improve not only our lives but the lives of the next generations to come. No one likes living amongst the hate in the world, and there is so much of it. But the only way that things are going to change is if we start the chain reaction. After all we live together in this world so why don't we work together and make it a more peaceful place to live. No person is better than another we are all the same species, we all breathe, have feelings, we're just under different circumstances. But we can definitely make it more peaceful for each other; we just have to show kindness.

There is nothing which can be done to totally improve the world's condition presently. However, there is something which can be done for the betterment of the world's condition. The main point which could affect the condition of the world is Education. Education provides people with knowledge, communication skills, discipline, and also with dignity. Malcolm Forbes said:

"Education's purpose is to replace an empty mind with an open one."

Education increases awareness and hence is a great accomplishment against terrorism and violence. If a person has knowledge, discipline, dignity, moral values, and understanding than that person could cause no harm or trouble to anyone.

If billions of people view the world as an educational, religious, and also a social place, then the condition of the world would be greatly improved.

Our individual actions collectively create the world, such as it is. Ours can be a much, much better world. To create a better world, you must do better things.

Helen Keller once said:

"I am only one; but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something. I will not refuse to do the something I can do."

We have so many people who really are trying to make this world a better place.

Nate St. Pierre is the founder of "It Starts With Us", a global group of people committed to changing the world in just 15 minutes per week. The team focuses on changing one family's life by easing their financial burden so that none of them is forced to do criminal activities. This in turn reduces the violence streak that is so common in our society.

Anne Frank said:

"How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world."
