History and structure of the travel and the tourism industry
The tourism is defined as the act of visiting the different types of the sights by paying the amount which is the actual fact of the civilized life from the 12th century. The word travel is derived from the medieval English word called travail which means the pain of the great wants and needs which is the exact explanation of the travel.
Structure of the tourism industry
The tourism industry is the activity of the person who will travel from one location to the other desired location and outside places within the outside environments for not more than the one year for the different types of the purposes such as the leisure holidays, the business tours, and educational tours.
The tourists are described as the persons who will visit the outdoor places from their own places for the different types of the reasons. The tourism is of three different types such as the domestic tourism, inbound tourism as well as the outbound tourism.
Domestic tourism
The domestic tourism is the process in which the individuals will take the holidays, the breaks, the day trips as well as the regular trips within their own country.
Inbound tourism
The inbound tourism is the process in which the people will enter the other country for their own reasons which is referred to as the international tourism.
Outbound tourism
The outbound tourism is the process in which the individuals will visit the other international countries from their own county for the holiday trips and the business tours etc.
The different types of the tourism services are been provided by the tourist operators, travel service agents.

The travel and the tourism industry will include the different aspects such as the tour operators who will manage the entire tourism project, the transportation which is been used to carry the people from one place to the other place in order to visit the different types of the locations. It will even include the travel agents who will manage the travelling packages and aspects such as the transport facility in different ways like the buses, rails, ships and planes. It will include the services related to the food catering as well as the accommodation facilities. One of the significant aspects in the tourism industry is to offer the tourist information as well as offering the guiding services by using the traveler guides in order to provide the required information on the locations to the tourist customers.
