Hawaiian Shakes is a new small business whose mission is to become a progressive business venture by attracting consumers with assorted and locally prepared refreshments. The production of the product will focus on using local fruits grown in the fertile soil of Belize. With innovative ideas and time management strategies from the business organizers, it was decided to start operations in the month of June 2018 in order to take advantage and provide refreshments during the summer vacation period. The Hawaiian Shake is made with natural fruits blended with other special ingredients, which create a perfect taste and reminds Belizeans of the quality of fruits grown here in Belize. The fruits that will be used are bananas, watermelon, melon, pineapple, and the one of the most preferred imported fruit; strawberry. It is served in the preferred neon 16oz cup of choice with bits of fruit to enjoy full refreshment of this satisfying drink. The best of this product is that customers get to choose their favorite flavors in one cup. In other words, they can order a mix of fresh and satisfying flavors in one drink.
Promotion
Hawaiian Shakes is currently advertised through word of mouth; but has planned a solid foundation for promotion, marketing and sales strategy that is expected to implement and gain competitive advantage in the market. Gaining the market would require many methods that would be of great help in climbing the market ladder. In achieving such methods, the organizers had evaluated social responses which lead to the idea of taking advantage of technology. So then, the first step in promotion is to plan on developing a website to inform the general public about our product. Websites are a rich source of information in detailing the variety of flavors offered in a 16oz cup. Secondly, this would also enable us to engage on different social media channels like Facebook, Instagram, twitter, etc. and create a chain of people who will pass on the information of our product to many others. We strongly believe this would help the business increase in customers, create a strong reputation and establish a solid operational business environment. Thirdly, we shall make use of the traditional ways of advertising such as the radio, television, brochures, business cards etc. This method shall enhance awareness of our product to the general public in which we are confident of a high attention to quality and customer preference. The sales strategy for this business is that it will deal with many clients around the country; therefore a customer relationship program shall be in place to aid in operations. This would include especially delivery services which would be an extra step in selling and customer preference. Coupons and special offers is also part of sales which would enable the business to sell more in less time like selling five and getting the sixth one free.
Price
Hawaiian Shakes is dedicated to its customers that will offer their products at very reasonable and affordable price. The local fruits drink is served in a 16oz neon cups at the price of $3.00. this is because the organizers believes that the competition is selling real and natural flavors at affordable prices instead on selling artificial flavors with water at unreasonable prices. Now when it comes to imported fruits the price shall be raised to $4.00 per the same size of cup which can be categorized below market competition. At such rates stated above, customers will be more attracted to Hawaiian Shakes because they are getting both quality and quantity and very affordable prices.
