Hamlets father was haunting his castle to rationalize to various people in the castle of why he died. But what happened to Hamlets father after he was done making his death known around the castle? Why, he went to the purgatory of course. This is a place well known for where "souls" of the dead go when they are stuck and do not know which back to take to get to the place where their souls can rest. Now with Hamlets father there it was only a matter of time before Hamlet, who had died by being poisoned by his loves brother Laertes out of revenge for his sister, joined him this "limbo" situation. Upon Hamlets arrival to the purgatory he quickly found and reunited with his father. They start talking about all he had done and lets just say that his father was not very pleased at the situations that occurred in the last days of his son's life. Especially, since his late wife was involved and that was one of the things that Hamlets father did not want to happen. However, we will get to this subject later on. Just then, a self-proclaimed knight makes his was into the purgatory, he had just died from an illness. Hamlet and his father talk to the knight and learn more about him and his values in his previous life. They soon learn that the knight's name is Don Quixote.
The conversation between the three continue and since Hamlets father is so infuriated by the death of his wife, and that it had a lot to do with his son and the actions that he made, the subject of how Hamlet and Don treated their women in their past lives came up. "Why can you not be more like Quixote?" Hamlets father asked. "He never would doubt his love, or any women for that matter". Is father bantered on, " He was polite nice and genuine, just like any gentleman should be!" "He is on an entirely different respect level than you are and probably will ever be at!" Then, he goes on putting his son down for his horrible behavior by comparing Hamlet to Don Quixote. "Hamlet, you are never trusting of women, not even your own mother! You resent every woman that has ever crossed your path. You feel as if they will be on your side one minute and against them the next! You do not trust women so much that you feel that they have to prove themselves worthy to you when, in all honesty, you should have to prove yourself to them!"
As the conversation continues, the topic of chivalry comes up between the three men. Don Quixote boasts about himself by saying that he was the dictionary definition of chivalry. He then somewhat boasts by saying that he always treats women with respect engages his enemies in a proper way. When someone fights him it is only to defend his honor, never out of revenge. Don Quixote explained that he went on his adventures and did good deeds to people all in the name of his love, Dulcinea. The one thing that Don Quixote felt pride in, was that he did not have to do all the good deeds,
