Group Project in Aspect of Psychology

In this paper you will learn about the eight stages of the Psychosocial Development, Piaget's versus Erikson's Theory, and Lev Vygotsky's Social Constructivism Theory. First, I will provide information on the psychosocial stage of development. Next, you will learn about the Erikson model describing the current stage of development. Then you will learn about the current psychosocial stage development that influences behavior and relationships. After that you will learn about the positive and negative outcomes in the stage of development. Last, you will learn about how the development issues influence my personality, Piaget's versus Erikson's Theory, and Lev Vygotsky's Social Constructivism Theory.

Erikson's Eight Stages of Psychosocial Development said that everyone goes through the development stage from birth to death. It is true that the theory of this development can provide proof of the development throughout a life time for anyone. Erikson first stage is trust versus mistrust. This stage starts at birth to about one year of age. The second stage is known as the autonomy versus shame and doubt. This stage tells about how the child develops a sense of personal control. The third stage is when a child discovers initiative versus guilt. This stage happens when a child learns to gain power in preschool.

The fourth stage of Erikson consists of the industry versus inferiority. This stage takes place when the child age ranges from 5 to 11 years of age. In this stage the child will gain pride in their accomplishments. The next stage which is the fifth one and it consist of identity versus confusion. This stage, usually occur during the adolescence years, when there is self-exploration involved with them discovering themselves. The six stages involve intimacy versus isolation. This stage is where young adults start to develop personal relationships. The six stage is the generatively versus stagnation. This stage helps younger adults to grow up and live useful lives. The final stage, which is the eight stages, consists of integrity versus despair. This stage occur further down in life that is described as the late adulthood. This stage paint a picture in your mind to help you look back and evaluate your accomplishments you have made from birth to now.

Piaget's versus Erikson's stage summarized the theories that Erikson provided. Erikson theory said that the first 18 months of life is where a major development would take place. The child will first develop a sense of trust. This trust will help the child
