Abstract
Organizations can be successful in many ways; however, it is dependent upon how a company defines success that makes the company a great employer with strong biblical values. Group Two created a company based off their beliefs and values, which has led to a very successful business. The six main core values for Group Two are people first, stewardship, integrity, value of human life, corporate responsibility, and global involvement. It is evident through the actions at Group Two that there is a strong commitment to serve others and put their needs before the company’s.

Group 2 Values
An important measure of success is whether or not a company has a corporate value system and whether or not that value system and culture can survive beyond the life of the founder. At Group Two Organization it is believed that success is dependent upon leadership and core values. Our company has six core values that are based upon and incorporate a Christian worldview. The six corporate values are people first, stewardship, integrity, valuing and cherishing human life, corporate responsibility, and global involvement. Each core value will be further detailed with specific organizational examples along with the underlying biblical basis for each.
People First
Here at Group Two Organization, we value our people as our most popular asset. People are defined as our organizational team members, their families, our customers, and our community. People are central in plans of God; hence people are central for Group Two. Just as God has a plan for his people so does Group Two. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to proper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV). Here at Group Two people are recognized and honored for their endeavors. Our goal is to shepherd our people. Here we value our people as our family, and stress the importance of teamwork. With a people-centric culture, one must always be willing to lend a hand to his brother. Just as the Bible exhorts for us to treat people right and to do to them what we would like to be reciprocated to us.
Stewardship
Stewardship or the commitment to serve others over self is the second value of importance at Group Two. Group Two values giving and serving our customers, employees, and communities. Being a good steward means that one cares about the world they live in and feels responsible for its well being as well as the people within. Stewardship is a value found in many Scriptures, just as Psalm 24:1, “The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it” (NIV). Scripture also teaches that everyone is responsible to use their given talents to help others and work to create a positive environment. “As each has received a gift, use it serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace” 1 Peter 4:10 (ESV). Here at Group Two we value our purpose and the greater good over profitability and wealth and want to instill trust and loyalty in our employees and customers. This concept can be considered a “profit for purpose over profit for shareholders” (Karns, 2011, p. 341).
Integrity
Integrity for Group Two is doing what is right when no one else is looking. Further defined, integrity is doing what is right all the time and holding others accountable to the same level of integrity. Scripture is rich with the message of integrity and how important it is to be true and honorable. Here is a powerful message of integrity from Galatians 6:1-5 teaching the importance of holding ourselves accountable before we can help others,
Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceived himself. But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. For each will have to bear his own load (ESV).
