There are many sports played around the world. Sports can be played inside or out and by women or men. Of all the sports out there, golf is the best. Golf is my favorite sport because of the golf swing itself, the equipment used and the courses it is played on. It takes many motions of the body working together to make the golf swing pure and effective. The courses we play on are beautifully landscaped and designed to challenge you from the 1st hole to the 18th hole. From the golf clubs, balls and tees, the equipment you have will play a big role in your score
The first thing I like about golf is the golf swing itself. Posture, alignment and grip all come into play while setting up and executing your swing. Timing is the most critical element of the golf swing because it connects all of the different moving parts of the body into one motion. The use of power is important as well. You need to know how and when to use the strength of your body to make certain shots you take have the results you desire.
The next thing I like about golf is the equipment used. Your golf clubs are the instrument in which you hit the golf ball. There are many different styles and brands you can choose from. Each club is designed for a specific shot; however some clubs have multiple uses. Being fundamentally creative with club selection on each shot will give you the best opportunity to score low on your round. The golf ball also needs to fit your own swing. Some balls are designed for length while others are designed more for accuracy. The size of your ball is going to be the same, but the technology of the ball will change based on the players desired result.
The last thing I like about golf is the courses it is played on. The golf courses are designed to be esthetically pleasing to the eye while being physically and mentally challenging. Playing each hole requires a different approach and strategy that must be implemented for success. Golf takes a consistent swing which you can achieve by practice. Your golf clubs and balls may vary, but it all comes down to fundamentals to be successful.
