Girls Against Boys

Thesis: in the novel "Girls Against Boys", the author demonstrates that the way

students are educated in school and people's opinions about future jobs make a

gender gap in colleges now. More and more young girls are much more desirable

to get college diplomas than boys.

I . In the beginning, the author introduces that there has been a change in girls

proportion in college in few decades.

 The population of girls in proportion has raised 20 percent in college.

 Girls begin to meet marriage problems.

II. One of the reason is feminism has influenced boys in schools.

 Female teachers and the current situation forces boys to read books about women.

 Sports and activities especially for boys that are struggling with studying are declined

III. The jobs market also influences the gender gap in college.

 Boys can get well-paid jobs without college degrees

 Girls have to get diplomas to make sure good jobs.

Conclusion: Both boys and girls need to consider more when they make choices.

And the boys have to accommodate to learn with so many smart girls in college
