Gendercide

In the Digital Journal, the headline read; Gendercide: Indian doctors feed female fetuses to dogs. According to the Daily Mail, abortion doctors in Beed, India allegedly keep dogs to dispose of female fetuses and thus hide the scale of illegal sex-selection abortions from officials. (digital journal) The doctor admitted openly that he was aborting female fetuses and feeding them to his five dogs. The police arrested the doctor, but he was released soon after and continued with his activities. (digital journal) This kind of behavior is unacceptable in the United States, so why isn't it in other countries around the world? Countries such as China, India and Africa are some of the few places that still think it is okay to perform these inhumane acts against females. The word Gendercide was first coined by American feminist Mary Anne Warren in her 1985 book, Gendercide: The implications of sex selection. It refers to gender-selective mass killing. (all girls allowed) Although it can describe the mass killing of males as well, it generally is referring to females. Gendercide should be stopped and there should be stricter laws and penalties to those countries that practice such cruel and inhumane acts.

And it is believed that the police will stay in affect for at least another decade. (all girls allowed) The thought of not being able to choice to have more than one child is unthinkable. It is an outrage to limit the amount of children a person can have. It is no one else's business how many kids a couple has. To pass a law to limit the amount of children someone can have is wrong. One of the greatest gifts of God is to procreate. To put a limit on that is ridiculous. Yet so many countries are allowing this to happen. The pass law so that they can regulate the population. And now there are more men in China than there are women. The sex ratios in China are outstanding. There are 105 boys to every 100 girls. (all girls allowed) When these boys grow up there aren't going to be any women to marry and then what will happen to the population. Young males commit the greatest number of criminal acts and acts of violence. Marriage has been the great taming institution for the social development of young males. Without prospect for marriage and a normal sex and family life, these multiple millions of unmarried young men are becoming a significant social challenge in China and India. Some observers even argue that this may lead to an increased militarism in the region.

India is another country that is discriminating against women. Although they don't have any laws against more
