To whom it may concern,
I am writing on behalf of the Cornell University chapter of Global China Connection (GCC). Cornell GCC would like to solicit internship opportunities for our members. I will provide a brief introduction to GCC and the proposed internship partnership.
About GCC
Global China Connection is a leading organization for promoting cooperation between premier students in China and the international community. A student-run, nonpartisan non-profit organization funded by private and corporate donors, GCC leads over 50 international university chapters to meaningfully engage their counterparts in China. Distinguished individuals from a diverse array of fields have indicated that they stand with us as we strengthen relations between China and the rest of the world, such as Kirsten Gillbrand, Senator of New York State, and Edward Ho, Managing Partner of Ernest and Young China. For more information about GCC, please see http://gccglobal.org/.
About GCC Cornell
Currently, we have over approximately 500 registered members, including undergraduate and graduate students. The competitive environment of the club, at one of the top universities in the world, has fostered highly qualified individuals for work. The caliber of our members is highlighted by the vast job experience and skill set that many of our members already possess. Sample members' resumes are also enclosed with this letter for your reference.

The Internship Partnership
An internship partnership will be mutually beneficial for both Shanghai Media Group (SMG) and GCC. By incorporating our members into your company, we will help your company promote its vision of globalization. Furthermore, through your collaboration with GCC, your company can begin to utilize the publicity channels of GCC and Cornell in the form of recruiting events, GCC newsletters, and conferences. Meanwhile, our members have expressed great interest in seeking an internship in China's media industry.
Therefore, we would like to ask if SMG would be interested in forming a relationship with Cornell GCC. By forming a relationship with Cornell GCC, your company will agree to provide exclusive internship opportunities to Cornell GCC members.
We appreciate your consideration; and if you have any questions, please contact us at gccinternship@gmail.com or (01)607-220-7331. We would like a response by Friday, March 25, 2011.Thank you and we look forward to the opportunity of working with you.
Sincerely,
Siheng Han
President, Global China Connection Cornell Chapter
