Good morning ladies and gentlemen, it is very nice to see you all here today. My colleague, Kim, and I, from the Marilyn consulting group are glad to be here to present you the results and recommendations based on the study we have done regarding GCA's internal communication.

First of all, let me share with you a quote by bill gates, a famous successful business leader and the founder of Microsoft Corporation. "Like a human being, a company has to have an internal communication mechanism, a "nervous system", to coordinate its actions." We can see that, the importance of internal communication is highly emphasized. As we know that GCA is planning to expand its business beyond Asia, to Europe and USA, internal communication becomes even more essential. Just like the nervous system which grows with the human body, the internal communications would also become more complicated when the company expands.

The 2nd key finding of the study is that communication within GCA is largely passive. The survey responses show that most of the respondents are simply receiving information at staff meetings. We can see from the comparative pie charts here, 53% of the employees keep silent for more than 10 times per year in the staff meeting, while on the other hand, when it comes to information giving, which signals active communication, only 35% of the employees are engaged in such tasks for more than 10 times per year. And 16% of the employees indicate that active information sharing in staff meeting is not applicable for them which is significantly high as compared to the 6% here.

Other than that, the 3rd key finding is that the employees are not aware of the importance of proper communication channels. In focus group conducted, an issue of over-dependence of oral communications is
