(This story is made up)
The future is uncertain, but one thing is for sure: the world wide web is getting bigger and bigger. Computer devices are already playing a big role in our lives, but their part will grow. On the web you can find any information you want and buy any product you need. This is the reason why so many companies are moving to the online network of sales. The online world which is reachable from anywhere. The company Filippa K cannot stay behind. Filippa K is one of Sweden's leading fashion brands founded in 1993 by Filippa Knutsson. It is mostly known in Europe. The brand is not selling online yet, but they have to if they want to keep up with the fashion market. There will not only be a great future for online stores, but also for real life stores and especially for the stores of Filippa K.
We are living in a society where fashion goes very fast. It is possible to have new fashion almost every month. The term fast fashion means new fashion collections which are based on the most recent fashion trends. Trends are going faster and coming sooner. Maybe in the future it will be possible to have new fashion every day. Not only fashion is busy, but also are people. They are busy with working, learning and sharing their interests. We are living in a society where almost everything goes so fast, people do not have time anymore.
Nowadays, people who do not have time to shop during the day can shop online whenever they want. Many companies have web shops, they are showing up in large numbers. Web shops are easy, because you visit them whenever you want. The shops provide you information about the garments which you can order. When they are ordered, they will be send to your house. Online sales are very attractive to the worldwide market. Because everyone from all over the world can visit your shop. In the future internet access will be very easy, because almost everybody will have internet 24 hours a day, for example on their laptop or mobile. Wireless network will be available at all public area's. Online shopping is easy already, but it will be much easier in the future.
If many people are going to buy online, does that mean real life shops will disappear? No, off course not. There will still be people who adore to shop. Who love to spend time walking through the streets and visit stores. Probably the real life shops are not the money-makers anymore, but they will still be there to let customers experience the brand in real life. Some stores may provide extra services next to clothing. For example a restaurant or a beauty salon. The real life shop is more some kind of extra to the online shop.
Today people are still visiting shops, because they experience disadvantages of online shopping. It is not possible to try the clothes on right away. You have to receive the clothes and than to try on. If they are not fitting well, you have to send them back. Besides that, it takes more then a week before the garments arrive. It will take much longer if you have to switch them for other sizes. This is the current situation. In the future it will be possible to put in your sizes online. The computer looks automatic for the right sizes of the garments. Something which already exists is the body scanner. Now it is a very uncommon device, but it can be very popular in the future. The body scanner measures the sizes of your body in a few seconds and makes a 3D-model of your body. They will be placed in stores and they look like fitting rooms. A store can link this scanner to the site, so when you log in, the sites already knows your sizes. Besides, the transportation in the future will be much faster. Delivery times will be shortened, so you do not have to wait that long for your order. This way shopping online will almost be to easy.
