For my family crest I had a hard time picking out what I should put on it, so I picked things that meant something to me.

First off the X shape on the crest is to symbolize protection. I picked it because, sure you can do things on your own, but not all the time. When you have problems coming at you from every direction you need someone to help you and protect you. And I know I can always count on the people in my family for that. I left it white because it stands for peace. The way I see it is you don't always have to use force behind protecting, it can be done with simple things. in small ways like helping, or advice.

The hearts are for truth, kindness, and charity. I picked this one because my family hasn't always had everything, but that would never stop anyone rom helping someone in need. And it doesn't matter what you or anyone else has it matters how you feel for yourself and others, and what you do to help everyone have a better life. It's red because one of the things it stands for is magnanimity. Which is like, generous and giving. And I though that went along well with what the hearts stood for. That and hearts are red. (:

The sun is for Glory and splendor because if you do what you're meant to, and are a good person I don't see what's so wrong about knowing how good you are. Be happy about it, and if everyone knows, well good for you. There's nothing wrong with being glorious, and having splendid things in your life. I think everyone should because the more pride you have for yourself the better you can feel, and better you can make others feel, as long and you don't let it go to your head to the point of being cocky, because them no one will like you, or care what you do. And it's also red, because of courage. Because to become glorious you must have courage.

I picked the color black because of consistency and some grief. Because they're both good. But bad as well. If you're too consistent you'll be predictable, but it's good to know what you're good with. And grief because everyone has it, but if there was no grief there would be no good. And gold for generosity because why not share what you have with people who have less than you. Or who need it more than you so.

My motto "fortitudo et misericordia" Means courage and compassion. I believe they're two qualities that everyone
