Extinction is known as the complete disappearance of a species from the earth. This actually occurs when a species cannot adapt and be successful with reproducing under a new environmental condition. Extinction is a natural selection process. Climate changes can be responsible for extinctions but, humans are what speed up the extinction in our world due to air, water and land pollution. Pollution has a damaging effect on all living organism in our environment and this makes it impossible for organisms to live. Humans need to be concerned with the extinction rate which is between 10 and 100 species per year. The rates differ from different groups of organisms.

* The hessian bags (jute bags) advantages are: recyclable, strongest natural fibers, cheap to buy, durable and the crops need little water. The disadvantages are: nonresistant to moisture unless chemically treated, grown with using pesticides and imported which means greenhouse gases.

* The calico bags are cotton fabrics. The advantages are: fewer chemicals used, cheap making and strong and durable. The disadvantages are: non water resistant unless chemically treated, large amounts of pesticide and growing the cotton uses a lot of water.

* Reusable cotton/canvas bags advantages such as: soft fiber and durable and strong. The disadvantages are: high levels of pesticides, needs of additional treatment and cotton is water concentrated.

* Reusable hemp bags advantages are: very strong, crop can grow in poor soils with little water and non resistant fiber. The disadvantage is that their expensive.
