Exceeding Expectations

We all aim to reach the goals that are set for us by others. We aim to please those around us; however, it is those that not only reach the point of accomplishment but also continue to strive to go above and beyond. The people that establish these expectations, whether they are our parents, employers, teachers, or even siblings, are the ones we are striving to satisfy. These targets we are all aiming to hit, may not be the easiest things to accomplish, but are necessary in our lives. When we are told the time we work, we show up on time, but it is exceeding expectations when we show up a few minutes early to ensure that we will not be late. When we are told our end time, we should not just assume we may leave, but rather to go check and make sure there is nothing else we could do. Instead of cleaning just because we are told to, we can take pride in our building and clean it until it is spotless. We, as a company, should strive to ensure we are the best out there. We should have the best costumer service by making sure we always please those that come to the movies; to ensure that they have a wonderful experience and that they come back. We can actually start their experience off by creating a positive, upbeat atmosphere right when they enter the building. We can end their experience with a friendly, "Have a great day!" and a smile on all faces. These simple alternatives are what can separate us from the rest of the service industry. They are what will make us the best.
