I remember five years ago something that changed my life forever. Up until that point I had been struggling through life doing everything the hard way. I couldn't figure out why my life wasn't going the way I felt it should be. It's is about making choices, but some can even change our life. I decided to enter a group that belong to my church in Qatar named "St.Francis".It had been a little hard for me at the beginning, but then I never regret once the decision that I made.
My life was not in the kind of mess that required drug rehabs or anything like that, but I always remember being lonely, depressed, and feeling very unloved and worthless.
When I first entered St.Francis's group, I was in the middle of nowhere, new young faces and three teachers that I don't know, so I sat down alone and wondered why I am here. I was first introduced to Jesus and remember coming home knowing Jesus as someone who was interested in me as a person, thought I was special and valuable and who loved me. I am not sure exactly when it happened but somewhere between that fist group meeting and a few months I decided to give my life to Jesus and accept his sacrifice for my sin. Something that still blows my mind to this day is how Jesus would give everything for ME even though I don't deserve.
By the time, I began to have new friends, new brothers and sisters and even invited my friends to this spiritual group.Spiritual, mental, and physical activities are done, I participate in all of them. In Addition, I was a volunteer in two camps, I really can't describe how beautiful it is to give information and play with children or teenagers. One can only find true peace and meaning to life when you have a relationship with Jesus.
Before I leave St.Francis me and four of my friends got two certificates from the Church, thanking us for all those supporting years. I was really lucky and blessed. Everything happens for a reason so knowing Jesus and serving him has changed everything about my life. He rushes out to support me, guiding me and letting me know that He is by my side, all the way till the final whistle. His hands are the safest hands to be in, in this world.
