Euthanasia is defined as the act or practice of killing hopelessly sick or injured individuals in a relatively painless way for reasons of mercy or practice of allowing a hopelessly sick or injured patient to die by taking less than complete medical measures to prolong life. It is very practical in several countries in the word and even countries like Japan and Albania. In my point of view, I strongly disagree with the statement stating that we have the right to take people's life due to euthanasia for the reason such as religious beliefs, moral issues and harmful to health.
First and foremost, euthanasia should not be practised due to religious beliefs. Basically, in all religions are totally against euthanasia. One of the most popular religion in the world which is Islam forbids completely all forms of suicide and any action that may help another to kill themselves no matter in any way. It is even mentioned in al-Quran saying that all human life is sacred because it is given by Allah and He is the only One who has the right to choose how long each person will live. Thus, human beings should not interfere with it. Moreover, Christians are also against euthanasia. They believe that human beings are made in God's image and should not interfere with natural process of human death.
Secondly, euthanasia should not be allowed because of moral issues. Nowadays, people are chasing after easy living style with the help of latest technologies that eventually affect their attitudes and morality in them. There will be no merciful to each other as it is so inhumane to take away one's life. The doctors should actually find a way to cure their patients instead of going through with euthanasia. Otherwise, it would be inhumane as they should have the chance to live the rest of their lives. Furthermore, it is also the matter of killing. It is totally wrong to kill a person for any reason.
Lastly, euthanasia should not be permitted as human deserve to be cured than to be killed. Since life is a precious gift from god, we as human beings should learn to appreciate it. There is no such thing as resurrection in actual life. The specialist doctors should make it possible to enhance human life span and quality of life instead of killing those hopelessly sick or severely injured individuals. Palliative care and rehabilitation centres are better alternatives to help those patients to approach death without pain and to have a better life at the same time.
However, some people state that euthanasia should be legalized due to economic factor. There are quite number of people who do not have enough money to pay for the needed medical care. After all, it is just a waste of time and money on a situation that most probably would not get better. As a conclusion, I still strongly disagree with the statement stating that we have the right to take people's life
