European Revolution

The European revolution of 1848, were a series of political upheavals throughout Europe. This revolutionary wave began in France, and immediately spread to most of the Europe and parts of Latin America. Over 50 countries were affected, but there was no coordination or cooperation among the revolutionary forces in different countries. What led to this revolution was the struggle for supremacy in European societies therefore; because many fought fir power 5 factors were involved such as the widespread dissatisfaction with the political leadership, the demand for more participation and democracy, the demands of the working classes, the upsurge of nationalism, and finally the regrouping of the reactionary forces based in the reality the aristocracy, the army, and the peasants. For centuries, Greece had been part of the Ottoman Empire. They controlled most of the Balkans. The people that contributed the revolution were Louis Philippe. Due to the uprising were led by coalitions of reformers, the middle class and workers, but it could not hold together for long. Tons of thousands of people were killed and many were forced into exile.

Some major events in the revolutionary were in the end the Greeks did indeed gain independence, therefore the effects were the ethnic uprising erupted throughout Europe. Due to the more freedom granted a system was formed, each style was believed to government would serve the people. Conservation, liberals, and radicals debate issue of government, a new movement called nationalism. Conservation was usually the wealthy or nobles. Liberal however was mostly middle- class business leader and merchants, while radicals were favored drastic change to extend democracy to all people. Liberals were usually lawyers, teachers, business people who split and establish self-rule. In 1815, however France, England and Spain were called nation-states. Though In the end they got their independence tens of thousands were killed and many were forced into exile.
