Ethics in business is crucial to the success of Kudler Fine Foods and society. To maintain a positive public image and reputation, Kudler Fine Foods must have business ethics codes. Kudler Fine Foods has three ethical considerations the company lives by.

Refraining from harming others is the first ethical consideration at Kudler Fine Foods. People must be able to trust each other in order to work together. The company relies on its employees to be a team and without trust there is no team. It is important for the employees and managers to know that Kudler Fine Foods believes in their staff and that they will be given a safe work environment and be treated with the utmost respect. The public must also trust the company. When people question if a company is potentially doing harm to the public, they would not buy from that company. Trust is huge for Kudler fine foods, and without the public's trust, there would be no gourmet health food store.

Fairness can be shown to employees by how people are hired, promoted, and fired. To keep it fair Kudler Fine Foods uses handbooks and code of conduct. It is important to provide written standards to the employees to show what is considered wrong behavior. Not only should the company provide these standards, but also should follow them. This is the only way the company can prove that they are distributing fairness throughout the company.

Communicating honestly is the last ethical consideration, which means telling the truth and extends to protecting confidential information as well establishing credibility with staff and the public. Kudler Fine Foods is in the business to make its customers happy, and one way to do so is with honest communication. This ranges from honest marketing and advertising to satisfying the public's expectations.

A company that truly stands by their ethics is a company that will be successful for many years to come.
