Elevator pitch

I am an MBA holder and graduated with bachelor’s degree in Information Technology at College. I have gained robust experience in the area of Information Systems Audit from the three organizations that I have worked in the last fifteen years. Besides, I am an ISACA member. In my past employment positions, I managed to implement competitive Information System strategies that saw those companies improve service delivery, efficiency and eventually profitability. Understanding the value of information systems in the workplace is my passion. I will be thrilled to consult if anyone would be interested in the evaluation of their IT infrastructure.  

Company of Interest (Market target)

I have had a desire to work for some organizations that I feel need my skill set and experience. The first company that I have desired to work for is Apple. Since this company deals in design, development, and selling of computer software, consumer electronics, and online products, it would give me a chance to widen my scope on information systems. Apple develops software for every hardware. The numerous systems that it develops for its devices is a great area that I would wish to explore. My keen interest is in the company's product development strategy. I would want to ensure that it maintains an approach of updating its products rather than developing new products. Apple would benefit from my dual-exposure in business and information technology fields. Since am experienced in this tool, I would provide Apple with expertise in understanding the dynamic business environment that is being impacted by the advancement in technology. It would then be able to stay ahead of its competitors.

My other target market company that I would want to for is Microsoft. It has been in existence for decades and dominated the software development field. The company develops and sells some software products that range from simple applications for phones to complex server software. The company has been in the industry for several decades and has established its clientele around the world. My skill set and what I have done in my career matches perfectly to what Microsoft does. There is a need for such a company to be sensitive to the changing needs of its clients. As technology continues to advance, there is a rampant increase in the cases of system insecurity. The internet has brought about cyber crimes such a hacking and cracking. As a Certified Information system auditor, I would be able to detect the loopholes in the design patterns of Microsoft that could give room to the perpetrators of cyber crimes. The users of computer software today prioritize the security of their information and processes. My understanding of IT governance and data encryption techniques would provide reliable and safe designs of the systems that are designed at Microsoft. I would also enable it to forecast the competitiveness in the market since I have a background in business studies. I would be able to improve its brand development strategy so that it remains competitive in the software development field.
