Individuals are watching you, whether it's a surveillance cameras at the local gas station or it's the security guard at concert or football game. Does that make you feel untrustworthy? You post something personal on Facebook and later on decide to remove it, are you aware that that post is still on the internet although you deleted it? You may not see your post that you deleted but others will. In today's society, privacy rarely exists. There are special equipment and tools that individuals use when trying to invade someone's privacy that includes hidden cameras and satellites. What is your definition of privacy? Do individuals today really understand what privacy is? Have they had the chance to experience privacy? The definition of privacy is "allowing an individual or group to seclude themselves or information about themselves and thereby reveal them selectively." When something is listed private it is usually something that is personal and valuable to someone. In the 21st. century everybody would like privacy but it is no longer "accessible." They could simply tap into the computer and access an individual personal information. Also, a hacker can be someone who is employed by a firm. Another matter that has surface is about emails. There have been some instance where people say that their emails that they send to someone are not only getting read by the individual they sent it to, but also a third party individual also. There are no verification or proof that this is true but certainly probability.(Anderson F.R. 2009)
