Teachings ~ condensation of the 14 points
William Edwards Deming was also highly known for his significant Condensation of the 14 points for Management. I personally am fond of # 1 Create constancy of purpose toward improvement of product and service, with the aim to become competitive and to stay in business, and to provide jobs. Constancy of purpose toward improvement is very important and not just in the business. We should be consistent with a purpose always trying to change for the better in what ever it is that has meaning. There is always room for change for the better, for there will always be a competitor who just might be able to do thing's better. I also took a liking to #9 Break down barriers between departments. People in research, design, sales and production must work as a team, to foresee problems of production and in use that may be encountered with the product service. I thought that is so true, Communication is so important every department we shouldn't have any barriers and keep the communication flow open to forecast and potential problems. Teamwork is very essential to have a success organization. One department might see a potential problem that another department is not seeing. There should not be any barriers that restrict this flow. We should all work together we are all on the same team, the team of succeeding providing quality to one another in one way or another.
