Education - What Does It Mean?

Education, what does that word mean exactly? According to the Merriam Webster dictionary it means the action or process of educating or being educated. A lot of people take for granted how important school really is. Education is very important for someone's career and for your personal life. It is actually the one place that can change someone's future.
Completing increasingly advanced levels of education shows that you have a drive and commitment to learn and apply information, ideas, theories, and formulas to achieve a variety of tasks and goals. The level of success that people seek in their career is in direct correlation with their level of education. People need to Advance their education in order to advance their career.
Another primary reason education is important, is that it has become a basic requirement for so many employers to even get a foot in the door. Many employers require college level education, even for roles which previously did not require it, such as administrative assistant positions. The fewer years of education you've completed, the fewer doors are open to people.
According to the Census Bureau" Workers 18 and over sporting bachelor's degrees earn an average of $51,206 a year, while those with a high school diploma earn $27,915. But wait, there's more. Workers with an advanced degree make an average of $74,602, and those without a high school diploma average $18,734." So sure you could make it without a degree, but if people want to live comfortably and be able to support their family they need a degree.
Traditional campus learning is the oldest method of education. It offers hands on experience. It also offers live speaking and presentations. Campus learning allows the student to get much needed experience in being socialized. Some people prefer the one on one contact and enjoy the classroom setting. It provides people with the comfort of knowing the instructor is right there to help them. This in turn gives them the experience of taking and utilizing instructions and putting them to use in their personal and professional lives.
There is now another option, a less expensive option for those who don't like or can't afford the traditional classroom settings. They now offer online schooling. Online school works great for those who learn better on their own, or for people who have a hectic life and just don't have the time to sit for hours in a classroom. Going to school online is cool because they bring instructors and classmates from all over the United States. Some people feel going to an online school helps them because there is no peer pressure. This way they can put their focus to where it is needed, their education and their home life.
So now that there are two options of how and where people can continue their education. It should be a lot harder for them to come up with excuses as to why they can't go to
