Duty during a deployment can mean a lot of different things or a lot of different people. Whether your serving through a
combat tour or just supporting can make alot of difference. To me serving through a deployment is an honorable thing
that every soldier member should aspire to do because its a better way to seve they're country than just by sitting in garrison.
Whether your pulling combat patrols twice a day or making peace with local natives your actions can directly and
indirectly affect the peolpe back home. Either by winning the hearts and minds of the host country or teaching the local
military new ways of doing things. You are in the middle of a new country and representing your nation. I believe
that during a deployment you should make sure to followal commmands given to you as soon as they are given. I believe
this because in a combat situation disagreeing isn't an option it could get you or your friends killed. Also when pulling
a guard shift or detail under no circumstances should you be any less than 100% focusd on the task at hand. I understand
that it is hard to remain fully aware and on task but again if you dont it could have disastrous affectson the mission and
the personnel who are accompanying you.
Furthermore a units ability to complete a mission falls on the shoulders of every soldier that is part of the unit there are no soldiers who stand aboove and watch the rest just as there are no soldiers and lay below and try to over come those above.
