Drugs are good but....
Jesus took drugs, when he drank wine with his disciplines. Bob Marley took drugs, when he "Shot The Sheriff". Hindus take drugs, when they participate in religious occasions. Drugs have been on our planet almost as long as humans have. Drugs have caused many wars, like the mexican drug war and they have killed even more people. On the other hand, they have fought certain diseases and helped people while they suffered. If famous spiritual leaders have taken drugs they cannot be that bad, can they?
First of all, why did the people even start to take drugs? They did it, because they were unhappy with something in their lives. More likely, they were suffering of a disease or a bad mental disorder. The only thing that made them feel better, was drugs. There is no doubt about the importance of drugs in medicine. You take it once, you take it twice and you won't be abel to stop using it. Even after you got a rehab, you can still be addicted again, if you take it one more time. It is like a vicious circle.
Drugs change the way you think about your life. It can even change your personality and you become a total different person. Referring to the Book "Brave New World" written by Aldous Huxley, you stop asking why things happen after taking drugs.
You are not longer worried of politics, or the governmental structure, or how many taxes you have to pay. The only thing you can think of and care about are drugs. In Brave New World they
