~ In a magical place far from any civilization was the magical dreamland. In dreamland, your wildest dreams will come true but Dreamland can be deadly to those who are not happy and do not dream good dreams. Monsters roam this beautiful land and can only be stopped by the happiest dreams. This is the adventure of Megan Falkner, an average 10 year old. ~

Beep! Beep! Beep! the alarm clock rang. Megan Falkner bolted out of her bed. Then she slowly crawled back into bed. She did not want to wake up because she had a marvelous dream, a wonderful dream, a spectacular dream but she still got up and went to brush her teeth. Every day was so ordinary for her. In fact she was tired of being ordinary, blending in to the crowd. Megan did not know that today was going to be magical, remarkable, phenomenal, different. Her dad dropped her off at her school but when her dad's car left, all her friends, classmates, and teachers just disappeared. This is weird Megan thought but before she got to ponder about it for too long she was plunged into icy cold water and it seemed as if she was going to freeze to death, she hit land. "Where am I?" Megan thought out loud. She was surrounded by the greenest grass and the bluest sky. She was immediately warmed by the incomings of the Sun's dancing rays. This place was too beautiful to be true but the strong smell of wild flowers told her that she was not dreaming for it was impossible to dream with all 5 senses. As she stood up she plunged into fire it was burning her up, dissolving her into nothing, and then she fell face down on a surface and slipped into unconsciousness. When she woke up, she found out that the surface she was on was soft, milky and inviting, it was a cloud. I must be dreaming, Megan thought. Then out of nowhere someone whispered, "You are dreaming, yet you aren't dreaming, you are in Dreamland." "Wait" Megan shouted but the voice had mystically disappeared. "Dreamland, Dreamland," Megan slowly whispered. She slowly got up, and this time she did not plunged into icy water or flames of fire. For some reason Dreamland sounded familiar. Megan decided the best thing to do was explore this Dreamland. She had many questions like is there anybody else in Dreamland except for me? Megan looked around her and started her journey going west. As she left, the eye of the deadly monster saw her.
