Living in the twenty first century has its advantages along with the fast lifestyle comes disadvantages. One disadvantages is having an unhealthy diet. An unhealthy diet is the result of people who are rushing all the time and too lazy.

First of all, people are in great rush all the time. They have busy schedule everyday so have no time to prepare healthy food, therefore they resort to the easy and rather fast way if eating fast food. People who are poor in time management will make an excuse to dine out or order in which are eating way too many calories and too much sodium.

Furthermore, people are getting lazier to cook their own meals. People are constantly relying on food prepared by others which are too many calories and too much sodium. People are lack of exercise. No exercise is being done and calories are not being burned off if movement is not involved. Nowadays, people are prefer relaxed lifestyle. They are prefer staying under an air-conditioned area rather than working out in a open-air area.

Consequently, an unhealthy diet can cause many diseases, especially coronary heart diseases. For example, atherosclerosis and heart attacks which will causes death. This increases death rate, therefore, causes decline in the average age of the country’s population.

As a conclusion, this phenomenon has to be stopped by taking some serious measures before it goes out of control. This can be done by raising public awareness about the effects that bring to them and to help them on taking healthy diet to create a healthy society.
