As the Automobile industry is growing at a very high rate the customer preference level is also increasing. So the companies need to take care that the customers are influenced by their products. After the "Industrial policy of 1991" various automobile giants started entering the Indian market.

Now if the companies like ford, Chevroley, Audi and Mercedes Benz want to enter any market they must use highly impressive and informative technique of marketing to increase the consumer awareness. Therefore digital media is very much required for the promotion of its automobiles. Not only by new players the existing players are also required to do marketing therefore digital marketing is important.

IMPORTANCE OF DIGITAL MEDIA IN AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY

1. TELEVISION

The objective of given advertisement on the television is to make the consumer more aware about the product its features and other necessary characteristics that are the part of that particular product and also can compare it with other product.

2. MOBILE PHONES

Today the mobile phones are the most common source of medium for digital marketing using the SMS and MMS facility. This is another source of marketing technique which is very cost effective and also considered to be an important technique for increasing the brand awareness of any product.

3. WEBSITES

The company's website is also considered to be an important tool. If the website of the company is highly informative the customer will came to know about the product ,from where the customer can buy and other important decisions which help the company to get the consumer induced towards the product.

4. SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES

The social networking sites such as facebook, twitter,Youtube etc are also very essential and are also cost effective and will help in knowing the customer feedback and their choices.
