Organizational psychology is important and necessity for companies in the world no matter if company is small or big. With company's competitors providing similar services and this position as psychology can be very helpful. Organizational psychology offer a corporation unbiased that gives advice and ideas for a company to improve and advance in using different methods of analysis and research. In the following paragraphs I will be defining organizational psychology, explain the role of research and statistics in organizational psychology, and how organizational psychology can be used in organizations.

Defining Organizational Psychology

Organizational psychology is a field that utilizes scientific methodology to better understand the behavior of individuals working in organizational settings (Jex & Britt, 2008, p. 2). Organizational psychology benefit companies in many ways because it studies the conduct in companies to asset resolutions to the dilemma and find important facts about the organization. There are several types of psychologist but the one that would best help companies to success and learn from his or her mistakes would be organizational psychologist. Organizational psychology is in the classification of industrial psychologist which organizations consume this kind of analysis to interest his or her companies in different ways; for example, he or she can help them set up programs for the employees on how to improve on his or her job skills, intervention, communication, suggest plans of action with the ambition of advocate positive organization assurance, d improve on the weakness of the organization. This classification of psychology focus on individual allocation of the working atmosphere through research and consulting it can generate equal plans of accomplishments to increase the organization circumstances.

Research and Statistics

The role of research and statistics in the organizational psychology is important because organizations benefit from them. To gain a more complete sense of and appreciation for the function of research and statistics in the field as a psychologist, one must explain the role of statistics in research, compare and contrast the characteristics of primary and secondary data, and define research and the scientific method. Organizational psychologists are expected to make unbiased and evenhanded suggestions for improvement for companies, and do organizational research and statistical analysis for companies. Research organizational psychologist goes into detail on specific organizational conducts through adjustments of analysis in an exertion to contribute every suggestion for interference to the organizational psychologist as accomplishment. After reading the textbook I have concluded that professional researcher helps in guiding "interventions designed to help organizations become more effective"
