Defection Products and Injuries
In order to present the issue of defective products to the company, a formal memo to address the issue including apprehensions, undesirable effects, and established records of malfunctioning instances concerning the defective product should be delivered in the letter. However, because the ethical codes of conduct have not been conveyed, specifying any evidence of deficiencies could be precarious. Furthermore, during the course of the meeting with the new executives, the emanate problem could be attended to on a deeper level. The agenda could include solutions to the defect and what strategy should be taken to avoid high costs of fixing the issue. This information should be posted in stores in which the products are sold, internet announcements, and mail should all be utilized in informing the public about the problem. A hotline for customers who have complaints or questions should be made available immediately. Once the information is notified to the public, then the company should take steps to ease the tension by enforcing ethical standards of the company and procedures that should be taken in order to return the defective product and exchange it for a new one.
