good morning honorable judges, oppositions, speaker, timer and members of floor.
I do strongly agree that the safety of the group of people is more important than individual freedom. It seems ridiculous that the greater good of all should be sacrificed for the one. In other way it is make more sense that one should scarifies some freedom and privacy for the greater good of majority. In Today's society, security has become a very important issue that needs to be attended to, more so than individual freedom. For example in 9/11 when there was an attack on America. Two of the airplanes were crashed into the World Trade Center in New York City, and Thousands of people lost their lives through these attacks. Hundreds of people were on the planes. Thousands died in the buildings that were hit by those planes. after 9/11 United States governments immediately made public safety and national security their highest priority, they are not allow passengers to carry liquids past security screening checkpoints or onto aircraft, including drinks This is to prevent the creation of poisonous liquids. In addition Airports may check the ID of any passenger at any time to ensure that the details on the ID match those on the printed boarding pass or even allow the government access to personal information and items thus who suspicious for the criminal. Even though People must find life more discomfort, no privacy and lack of freedom, according to the public security process, but the question is "would you rather be free than be safe from the car bomb and criminal? Freedom is important but in the time of crisis security became the paramount consideration even if privacy, individual freedom and civil liberties had to be sacrificed.
